High School
(Rhetoric) Grades 9-12
And we proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every
man with all wisdom, that we may present every man complete in Christ."
Colossians 1:28
Scripture teaches in Deut. 6:4-9 and Eph. 6:1-4 that parents, not the state or church, are responsible for the education of their children. Therefore, we seek to serve parents who desire that their children be educated according to the doctrines and principles that identify us as a classical and Christian school. Our high school program is modeled after the third stage of the classical Trivium which teaches students to express in the most compelling manner possible those facts acquired in the grammar program and related through training in dialectic methods. Formal instruction in rhetoric, the art of persuasive speaking and writing, begins in the ninth grade. It is where abstract thought reaches its apex; where the unknown can be explored because the known is already understood.

Interscholastic Athletic Program
The TCA athletic code stresses that a student's physical gifts come from the Lord and are to be used to glorify Him. Our student-athletes compete against other Christian schools, area private and prep schools, and local public schools. TCA is an active member in the Tri-State Christian Athletic Conference. Two-thirds of the student body participates in at least one of our sports, which include: soccer, basketball, softball, and baseball.
