The Christian Academy
TCA welcomes a new Spanish teacher.
We are thrilled to welcome Ms. Elizabeth Piasecki to The Christian Academy as our new Spanish teacher! From the first day of orientation, Ms. Piasecki felt the warmth and encouragement of the TCA community. "The teachers here are so supportive and welcoming," she shared, appreciating the close-knit atmosphere that makes TCA such a special place. Already, she has found joy in her students, noting their respectfulness and eagerness to learn—a perfect environment for cultivating a love of language and God in the classroom.
Ms. Piasecki’s faith is central to her life and teaching. One of her favorite passages is Ephesians 2, which beautifully speaks to God’s grace and our identity in Him. She also cherishes Psalm 100, describing it as “short and sweet” and a joyful reminder to worship God with gladness. These verses reflect her heart for faith-filled teaching, and she is excited to bring that passion into her classroom, helping her students see the many ways they can honor God in both big and small moments.
In sharing her wisdom with students, Ms. Piasecki encourages them to “take your relationship with the Lord very seriously and start now.” Her advice is grounded in a commitment to daily spiritual practices, like prayer and Bible reading. “Building this foundation early on,” she says, “will be a source of strength in academics, friendships, and beyond.”
Ms. Piasecki’s background is rooted in a loving, large family. She is the fourth of six children and humorously describes herself as “the oldest of the second batch” because there is a nine-year gap between her next oldest sibling and her. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Piasecki finds joy in music and is currently inspired by the worship songs of Phil Wickham. She loves how worship music brings her closer to God and helps her live out Psalm 100’s call to worship with gladness.
We feel blessed to have Ms. Piasecki at TCA, knowing that her enthusiasm for teaching and her deep love for the Lord will have a lasting impact on our students. Her dedication to nurturing young hearts and minds, and her joyful, faith-filled approach, will certainly enrich our school community.
