Serving with Purpose: Missions at TCA
Honoring nine alumni serving in full-time missions work.
The spirit of service is alive and flourishing at TCA! As we seek to instill our core values of "Learn. Believe. Serve” in students, we are renewing our focus on fostering servant leadership through global and local outreach. Two recent developments underscore our commitment to this: the installation of a Missions Board in the lobby and the reinstitution of our high school mission trip.
Honoring Missionary Alumni
The new Missions Board proudly highlights nine of our alumni who are currently serving as full-time missionaries. These individuals embody the heart of TCA’s mission, dedicating their lives to sharing God’s love across the globe. Each graduate’s photo is accompanied by their name, graduation year, mission organization, and location. Their stories inspire us to follow Christ’s call to serve:
- Keri Kondracki ('91) - Women of Worth
- Robyn Flenner (Brown, '92) - Cru (Formerly Campus Crusade for Christ)
- 2005 Graduate - Wycliffe Bible Translators, Asia
- 2010 Graduate - Southeast Asia (Identity protected)
- 2011 Graduate Southeast Asia (Identity protected)

- Brit Haseltine ('16) - Missionary Athletes International, Delaware Valley
- Rachel Soderberg ('19) - Teach Beyond, Budapest, Hungary
- Oksana Specht ('19) - CMF International, Ethiopia
Each alumnus represents a unique journey of faith and service, reminding us of the transformative power of a life centered on Christ.
If you know of other TCA alumni currently serving in full-time missions, we would love to hear about them! Please email the school office (admin@tca-pa.org) so we can celebrate their work and share their stories with the TCA community.
Serving Beyond the Classroom
In March, we will send 22 high school students on a mission trip to Costa Rica, marking a joyful return to this tradition. Partnering with a Christian Camp Playa de Azul, our students will engage in meaningful service, building relationships, sharing the Gospel, and learning from the local community. This experience aligns perfectly with our mission to prepare students for “good works that God has prepared for them” (Ephesians 2:10).
Why Missions Matter
At TCA, we believe in developing servant leaders who embody Christ’s example of humility and love. The knowledge our students learn in the classroom is not meant to stay in their books; it is meant to be used in service of God and His Gospel. Through visual reminders like the Missions Board and hands-on experiences like mission trips, students witness what it means to live out faith in action and learn to discover their calling in God’s story.
A Call to Prayer
Please pray for our student missionaries as they prepare for Costa Rica and to thank God for the impact of our alumni serving worldwide. Together, let’s continue to cultivate a culture where faith and service go hand in hand, equipping students to "seek the good of the city" and beyond (Jeremiah 29:7).
Whether on a wall in our lobby or across the globe, TCA’s commitment to missions is a testament to God’s work in and through us. Thank you for supporting us as we learn, believe, and serve.
