TCA is more than academics – students in all grades have opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities and events that build leadership skills, develop gifts, and cultivate friendships.
High School
Student Leaders elected by their fellow classmates organize and oversee community-building events, such as Friday Night 7-10, the Christmas Banquet, and the Junior/Senior. They also provide a student voice in important school conversations. Students can participate in a variety of activities and electives, such as Yearbook, Creative Writing, Reading Round Table, Choir, Praise Dance, Chapel, Praise Team, Drama, National Honor Society, and Delco Hi-Q (the oldest, continuous, academic quizzing program in the United States).
Middle School
All Middle School students participate in Middle School Reads – reading at least one book a month and sharing their reading responses in Google Groups. Once a quarter, the Middle School gathers for Delta Night with crazy activities, food, fellowship, and fun. Middle Schoolers may also develop their artistic abilities in Art Elective, Choir, or Praise Dance.
Elementary School
Students in our Elementary Division enjoy many activities together, such as Roller-skating and Movie nights, 100th Day of School Celebration, Black History Month events, and intramural sports. The school year culminates with Play Day, full of fun, food, and games.
