Welcome to The Christian Academy

To begin the admissions process, fill out a New Student Application. After clicking the link,  you will be prompted to create an account in our FACTS Family Portal to complete the application. It should take about 30 minutes to fill out. A separate application needs to be submitted for each prospective student. There is a $75 non-refundable processing fee to submit the application. 

The following documents are required for each applicant: 

• Birth Certificate (PK-12th Grade)
• Immunization Records (PK-12th Grade)
• Most Recent Report Card (entering 2nd-9th Grade Only)
• Official School Transcripts (entering 10th-12th Grade Only)

Family Interview: At this step in the admissions process, one of our administrators will meet with a parent/guardian of each candidate for a New Family Interview. Since TCA is a covenantal school, we require that one parent/guardian is a Christian and that this parent/guardian be the primary parent that The Christian Academy partners with during the student(s) time at TCA. With this in mind, the parent/guardian described must also be the one present for the interview. This meeting helps us to learn more about how each family lives out their faith and to discuss what our future partnership could look like. 

Entrance Exam: With the exception of preschool, every candidate is required to complete an entrance exam before an acceptance decision can be made.  Kindergarten and 1st grade candidates will take an age-appropriate, observation-based assessment while 2nd-12th grade candidates will take a computer-based test which assesses math and reading ability. A "Meet and Greet" is required for all preschool candidates.

After the interview and entrance exam, our school administrators will make the official admissions decision and communicate this decision to our admissions team. The Admissions Coordinator will send out a formal notice of the admissions decision via email to the family as soon as it has been made. Decisions are typically made within 48 hours of the test/interview but can take longer during the height of our summer admissions season. 

Please Note: In the event acceptance is denied, we do not reveal specific reasons as to why a family is not accepted to TCA or release documentation/discuss any specifics of the admissions process or the decision made. Admission decisions are not made lightly. Our admissions process is competitive, and we carefully evaluate each applicant based on numerous factors.

If a candidate is offered acceptance, we will contact you and a contract will be offered. The family should then complete the contract and make arrangements to pay all tuition and fees. Click here to learn more about tuition and fees.
