“"The hearts of the people who fill the school are what sets it apart.”
What do you love about tca?
I love the close knit family like environment. Everyone feels welcome and comfortable. The hearts of the people who fill the school are what sets it apart.
How do you teach a Christian Worldview in your classes at TCA? (Please provide some examples)
At the preschool level, a Christian Worldview will be strategically weaved throughout each day in a simplistic way that the students will be able to grasp. I will focus primarily on the fruits of the spirit and encourage a deep love and respect for one another as Christ does for us.
What is a unique experience, talent or interest that you bring to your classroom to help shape the learning experience of your students?
The upcoming school year will be my first official year teaching, but I plan to bring many aspects of my creative background into play to enhance the preschool learning experience.
If you could describe TCA in one word, what would it be?
Inclusive
Tell the one story that best reflects your experience with the TCA community:
I remember my first day substitute teaching, I was pretty nervous. I worked as an aide for Mrs. Wilt and loved every minute of it. She was so kind and helpful. She really shaped my first impression / experience at TCA and gave me so much guidance and encouragement as I was trying to decide if I wanted to pursue teaching.
