“"You can see that the staff truly cares about the students.”
What do you love about TCA?
One thing that I love about TCA is the ability to build close relationships with everyone. When it comes to students or faculty, it’s not hard to make friends with someone.
Describe your favorite class and how it has shaped you as a person?
My favorite class was Christian Lifestyle. It really helped me apply my biblical knowledge to everyday life and situations like modesty, alcohol consumption, tattoos and more.
In what ways have you grown in your faith as a result of your experience at TCA?
TCA really helped me to take ownership of my faith. I grew up in the church, rarely ever missing a Sunday service. But I didn’t go because I wanted to but because I had to. It seemed like my parents were the ones who owned my faith. TCA taught me the importance of having my own personal relationship with God and applying all of my biblical knowledge to my life.
How do you feel that TCA is preparing you for graduation, college, and life? What are your plans after you graduate?
After graduation, I plan to go to college to get my degree in Computer Science. TCA really helped me prepare for college by teaching me all the information that I need to know to make it through life. And it’s not just academic information, but lifestyle information too like finances or knowing how to defend my faith.
Please feel free to pass along anything else about your TCA story that you would love to make known.
When you walk into TCA, it’s like the atmosphere changes. Everyone is kind and caring, saying, “Hi,” when you walk past them in the hallway. You can see that the staff truly cares about the students.
