TCA Stories

“"I immediately fell in love with working here because of the Godly peers I work with and the support I continue to receive from them every day.”

Why do you like working at TCA? What motivated you to be on staff at TCA?
I started working at TCA when my daughter, Makayla, started kindergarten. She is now in her second year of college and I still love working here. I immediately fell in love with working here because of the Godly peers I work with and the support I continue to receive from them every day.
In your experience, what sets TCA students apart from students in other schools?
I work with elementary and middle school students at TCA. It is a joy to be able to watch them grow in their faith and relationship with God. By the time they reach high school they are much more confident and grounded in their faith.
What do you love about TCA?
I love working with the elementary kids! I get to play with them at recess and the hugs I receive from them every day make going to “work” more fun!
Tell the one story that best reflects your experience with the TCA community:
I was diagnosed with cancer in February of 2019. The prayers and support I received from administrators, teachers, students, and parents brought me to tears almost daily! When I had used up all my sick and personal days because of surgeries and doctors appointments, several teachers and staff donated sick days to me. It still brings me to tears when I think about it. It’s like we are one big family!
