“The worship we experience as a student body has been consistently encouraging and uplifting.”
Sarah, Grade 12
What do you love about TCA?
The teacher’s love for the students and the priority of the gospel. The important topics of society being taken as priority to speak on from a Christian perspective. The worship we experience as a student body has been consistently encouraging and uplifting.
Describe one of your favorite teachers and tell why he/she is your favorite:
Mr. Michael is my favorite teacher because he is very aware and sensitive to when students have too much going on. He engages students as equals rather than as inferiors yet still knows how to control a classroom. He makes every subject interesting and engaging to learn about.
In what ways have you grown in your faith as a result of your experience at TCA?
Being surrounded by true Christians, it has been encouraging and also challenging to own my faith to discover what God’s truth is and, within that, what parts of Christianity resonate most with me and my beliefs. I wasn’t sheltered from other religions or views which makes it so important to know what I believe and [TCA] was perfect for me having grown up in a Christian home.
How do you feel that TCA is preparing you for graduation, college, and life? What are your plans after you graduate?
TCA has over-prepared me for college and has prepared me for life and how to defend my faith in secular settings. I plan to lead worship in a broader, public setting just like I do on the praise team in worship chapels–this is what God has led me to do. TCA has prepared me to defend what God has called me to do.
