Athletics

Athletics is an integral part of student life at The Christian Academy. Our middle and high‑school teams compete across the fall, winter, and spring seasons in soccer, basketball, softball, and baseball. Our campus is equipped with a full-sized gymnasium, three soccer fields, a softball and a baseball field.

As a member of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) District One and the Bicentennial Athletic League (BAL), TCA student‑athletes build character and teamwork through competitive play while honoring Christ.

PA Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA)

PIAA District One

TCA is part of PIAA District 1 which covers a significant portion of Southeastern Pennsylvania, including schools from Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties, as well as parts of Philadelphia. Our teams are working hard each year to qualify for the District Playoffs and a chance to advance to the State Playoffs. Most recently, our 2023 Girls Varsity Basketball Team won the PIAA District 1A Championship!

BAL

TCA is a member of the Bicentennial Athletic League which is made up of small to medium-sized public and private high schools in the suburban Philadelphia area. It was established in 1976 to commemorate the United States Bicentennial.

The Bicentennial Athletic League oversees and organizes interscholastic sports competitions among member schools. The league offers a variety of sports for both boys and girls, and we participate in soccer, basketball, softball and baseball.
