Spiritual Life
You can be confident that throughout every step of their journey, your child will be consistently guided back to Jesus, who is the source and foundation of everything we do.
We believe that education is about nurturing the whole child—mind, body, and spirit—because we believe that true learning is rooted in the transforming power of the gospel. Spiritual formation is not something tacked onto the curriculum; it is the very foundation of our approach. We strive to create an environment where students can explore their faith, ask deep questions, and grow in their relationship with God.
Spiritual Practices
Chapels
All students and teachers attend weekly chapel services that include musical worship and Bible teaching. Chapel speakers include TCA staff and friends of the school from local churches and ministries.
Middle and High School students have the opportunity to join the worship team which leads worship during chapel.
Small Groups
Throughout the year we breakout into Discipleship Groups for Chapel. These groups provide students with a safe space where they can speak candidly on spiritual issues, ask questions, pray, and be discipled by a caring and godly staff member.
Retreats
Middle and high school students at TCA retreat once a year. High School spends two days and one night away in the fall while middle school takes their retreat in the spring.
Retreats allow a focused time to build community, expand friend-groups, and connect with God outside of the busyness of the normal school day.
Service
All high school students are complete atleast 10 hours of service in their communities each school year.
Though service hours are a graduation requirement, we believe they are a worthwhile use of time in our educational program.
